Basic. But fast, clean, and very good fish and chips. Go here for a no-nonsense meal.

Cleanest toilets I have seen in a long while, however, the food was less than average.. Sausages were squishy and raw and the bacon fat was floppy and white, not nice and crispy. Maybe a good fish and chip shop, but sadly not so good for breakfast.

The Home of British Fish n' Chips. Also does proper English breakfasts, and brunches.I love to visit Jack's of Bagshot. I go there when I can with my wife and Disability carer. Lovely food and wonderful staff. There's usually a friendly crowd of.. builders, engineers, drivers, families and office workers. Listen out for your order number. Great customers and staff!Eat in or takeaway, you chose. I totally recommend Jack's on the A30 London road.

This fish and chip eatery had the best cod I've ever tasted. The batter was thin, crispy and delicious. The chips were excellent too. Plenty of seating, lots of parking. Ketchup and vinegar at the table and friendly and prompt service.

You would think by the que it's a great place. Unfortunately its because it's the only fish and chip shop for a few miles. Overpriced and average. . Watch out for a minimum spend charge on card transactions.....

The staff is nice and the burger is delicious but the fish is too oily.

Best fish & chips for miles .

Very disappointed as I went to Aldershot with my granddaughter & her husband. On the way back I suggested calling in at Jacks in Bagshot. We all wanted Rock & chips but was told that there was no Rock so we had cod. This isn't the first time it has happened. It happened on Good Friday which I think is there busy day. So get your finger out & don't let it happen again

Got our order wrong and ended up getting overcharged. However it had been such hard work ordering in the first place we didn't have the enthusiasm to complain! Also asked for a bottle of water but got tap water. Food was good albeit prices seem quite high here these days.

I'm not from the UK so I don't know what the standard is but I know good fish when I taste it. Absolutely fresh and delicious. The fish is juicy and flakey and the batter is crispy. Order the cod if you prefer a neutral tasting fish. On the other hand, the scampi (which is shrimp) wasn't nearly as good. Don't even think it's fresh.

Delicious. You order and then sit down at a table. Your order number is on your receipt. Good for kids.

The freshest fish, the best ships, the mutts nuts all round. Never fails to exceed expectations of great food at a great price. They know what they do well, so they do it.

The breakfast is really good and deserves five stars but because the prices are so very high compared to similar venues it only gets three.

Proper good old fish and chips... one of the best in the area

Ample parking amd great service. Eat inside, outside or takeaway. Good food. Family friendly and suits all generations. Lovely alternative from taking the kids to some fast food places. Would also make a good breakfast meeting place for a bike runs, opening at 7am.

Visited around 16.00 hours with 2 guests. The fish and chips we had wasn't great. Properly been lying around since lunchtime on a Sunday.

Super fish & chip shop in a great position. Been there for years, and very popular. Has sit down as well as take away and a useful carpark. If you aint been there, then you are missing out.

The hygiene standard is high,the quality of the meals is high. The taste of their fish & chips is renowned. Has been for years. The service is good. Beverages or soft drinks are available. Car parking is relatively easy, immediately in front of the building. The menus indicate mainly the normal fish & chips,as available to consume in the premises,or as take away. However,they do provide "veggie burgers" for vegetarians. There is an ATM Cash dispenser near the counter. The entrances permit access by those using wheelchairs.

Great tasting food ... always freshly fried . Chips are delicious and the batter on the fish is crispy and light . Pot of tea for one .. fills your tea cup twice . Choice of bread with butter. Easy access off the A30 just outside Bagshot makes it a delightful experience for a family meal .

All day breakfast, big board outside says up to 12, inside they say 11.30 . 11.40 wouldn't do me the special ? Not even a bacon and egg roll . Chips are ok though

Great food . Pity they don't do fried egg anymore as I can only have chips and peas now while hubby tucks into fish and chips

Popping in for a quick breakfast???? forget it..... mine was ordered at ten past eleven and arrived at twenty to twelve.

My favourite chippy, good batter and chips aren't too greasy

We call in here for fish and chips four or five times a year, and have done so for a number of years. They open at 7.00, and serve all day breakfasts at £7.50 until 12.00.They serve the usual pies, and sausages, in addition to cod, rock, and haddock, all of which are cooked freshly to order. Staff are very friendly and efficient, and there is plenty of parking. They also offer a party catering service for between 25 - 250.Highly recommended.

Traditional fish and chips ..excellent batter and a large serving of good fish. Plenty of seating and easy parking. Not easy to find a fish and chip resterant nowadays.

Without a doubt, the best fish n chips for miles around. Perfect in every respect. I really wish they'd offer chip shop curry sauce - it's the only thing missing from an otherwise perfect traditional fish n chip supper.

Excellent fish and chips. The batter was very crunchy all round the fish and the chips were freshly made and crunchy.
